XLVI Congress in Brazil: Inclusive Education in the mission of Fe y Alegría (2013)

Objective: 

To build a referential framework of Inclusive Education in Fe y Alegría, so as to help identify the fundamental characteristics of the inclusive service to which the Movement is called, living its mission in diverse contexts.

Background: 

The General Assembly of the Movement, at its meeting in November 2012, decided to stick on the theme of “Inclusive Education” at the XLIV Congress to be held in 2013 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, during the week of October 28th to November 1st.”

Subsequently, the Board of Directors appointed a team to prepare an “Initial Working Document” to provoke discussion and reflection which will allow a collective construction of the concept “Inclusive Education”. This document should be worked on by all the regional and national teams of Fe y Alegría, so that it reflects the feelings of all those who contribute with their work to the fulfilment of Fe y Alegría’s mission.

The Congress:

During the event delegates from all Fe y Alegría (two participants per country) will share both in groups and plenary sessions the substantive contributions they have worked on with their teams in their respective countries. Based on the reading of the Basic Document and the discussions that arise, three special guests will participate with presentations:
