The governance of the Fe y Alegría Movement combines hierarchical and network dynamics. The hierarchical lines allow the organisation of responsibility and subsidiarity in decision-making, but are always mediated by the network dynamics that characterise the movement: each national Fe y Alegría constitutes an internal network within the country, the group of countries constitutes a global network, each initiative is a network and the group of initiatives in turn constitutes a network of initiatives.
Redarquía is a functional structure that integrates and organises a set of networks that respond to institutional priorities, which have their own identity with a shared vision and mission. Each of the networks has a defined, differentiated function and they complement each other. They intertwine and interconnect with a multiplicity of other networks for social transformation.
Confirming our option to strengthen a way of organising and managing the MISSION in NETWORKS, we note the importance of generating a way of proceeding or federative culture that corresponds to this option and makes it more dynamic internally.
We have found that organisational structures in NETWORK must be accompanied by a federative culture that, corresponding to them, transforms and enriches us personally and collectively.
Our NETWORK option, with a GLOBAL perspective and strengthening LINKS is not only a way of management but rather, it is, above all, a way of being as an organisation.
